Evita Rivera: Great Advice

"Good advising is very important to a successful college experience,” says Counselor Evita Rivera, who works with students from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She thinks that counseling can empower students to make changes that will set the course for a lifetime of learning. “I enjoy helping them set their goals and then encouraging them to pursue and reach them,” she says. Evita, who has a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work.
