Once you’re enrolled, we’re here to help you make the most of your NYU experience:


As an incoming freshman, you will be required to participate in a six-week pre-freshman program designed to preview the courses that you will be enrolled in the fall. While using the freshman year books during the six weeks you will preview 1/3 of the fall semester courses. (more »»)


Throughout your undergraduate years at NYU, we offer both non-credit work­shops to reinforce your coursework and free tutoring for an array of subjects and course levels. (more »»)


Our counseling services are designed to help you transition to college, succeed academically, and finally, graduate. To that end, we offer individualized academic, career, financial, and personal counseling. We are here to help you adjust to the demands of college life both in and outside the classroom. (more »»)


If you live outside the five boroughs, you may apply for student housing. Students who live outside the five boroughs are automatically qualified for housing.  Students who live within the five boroughs must submit an appeal letter for housing.


As an enrolled student in our program, you will receive a financial aid package, which includes funding from Arthur O. Eve HEOP. Be sure to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications as early as possible.
